[jira] [Commented] (JCLOUDS-786) Remove old swift api

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCLOUDS-786?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14233160#comment-14233160 ]

Everett Toews commented on JCLOUDS-786:
---------------------------------------

Changed fix version to 2.0.0 as this is what's documented in the [deprecation comments|https://github.com/jclouds/jclouds/blob/master/apis/swift/src/main/java/org/jclouds/openstack/swift/CommonSwiftClient.java#L76-78]. If we'd like to accelerate the removal that can definitely be discussed, keeping in mind the other issues this depends upon above.

> Particularly after JCLOUDS-523, users can switch off the rusting "swift" api to the new "openstack-swift" api using jclouds 1.8.2 and 1.9.0.
> This task tracks deletion of the old apis/swift and common/openstack modules that are no longer necessary.
