Send logs to a different server

Is it possible to send CouchDB logs on a debug mode to another server. We
have a heavily loaded couchdb instance and need to run it in debug mode,
but turning it on in production seems to increase the load because of the
verbosity of the logs.

Would it be possible to configure a logger in debug mode but get that sent
to another server using, say, rsyslog, but leave the regular couchdb
logging to be in info mode as it is the default.

Thanks
Raja

Since version 2.x, CouchDB supports syslog: https://github.com/apache/couchdb/blob/master/rel/overlay/etc/default.ini#L510-L567 <https://github.com/apache/couchdb/blob/master/rel/overlay/etc/default.ini#L510-L567>
