Page Editing Question

Is it possible for users to customize a page (change the decorator,
layout, or configuration of the portlets on the page) without having it
affect other users? 

 

It may simply be the way that I've tweaked the default-page.psml file in
order to allow edit permissions to other users, but I'm finding that if
I log in as one user and change the decorator - that change applies to
other users too.
