source for ports

I can't seem to get to any xalan-dev archives, so I haven't been
able to find the answer to this question. Where can I get the
non-platform specific c sources, or which is the most generic, so
I can do a port to OpenBSD? And how in-sync is the source to
xerces-1.4, since I have already ported that to OpenBSD? Is there
a cvs repository available?
