Spatial Index (polygon)

Is it possible to index polygons in Solr/Lucene 4? I know you can do
a polygon search, but I am not sure if you can index polygons. Any
know?

Thanks,
Billy

Billy,

There's a great wiki page at:
http://wiki.apache.org/solr/SolrAdaptersForLuceneSpatial4

which gives an example on indexing polygons
