[jira] [Updated] (HIVE-8351) Allow testing of both hadoop-1 and
hadoop-2 for precommits
Brock Noland updated HIVE-8351:
-------------------------------
Description: Since we keep breaking Hadoop-1, we should make it possible to run both Hadoop-1 and Hadoop-2 as pre-commits. This may cost additional dollars as we'd have to increase the number of hosts we use to build, but would make the Hadoop-1 build stable. (was: To facilitate running multiple builds as precommit (e.g. hadoop1 and hadoop2) we should annotate the attachment id message with the build name.
Background, every pre-commit message ends with {{ATTACHMENT ID: XXXXXX}} which is use to ensure we don't test a patch more than once due to someone uploading a patch several times in a few minutes.
We should make that to {{ATTACHMENT ID: XXXXXX - Hadoop-1}} and {{ATTACHMENT ID: XXXXXX - Hadoop-2}}.)
Summary: Allow testing of both hadoop-1 and hadoop-2 for precommits (was: Append Build Tag to Attachment Id)
