FOP CID Font installation

Hi, I am trying to install a Japanese font on the latest release of FOP
(fop v.0.18). Do I only need to modify the userconfig.xml file?  I always
get "WARNING: unknown font MS-Gothic so defaulted to any" error.  No Java
file for the font is created and I only get XXXXXXXX in the pdf file.

What do I need to do? Can anyone help me?
