[SUCCESS] "checksum does not match" and "Could not read status line"
Hello,
I just wanted to share one possible trouble with Subversion over HTTP:
buggy proxies.
After trying to switch from file-based to HTTP-based repository, I
could not check out large (~200Mb) repository. It said "checksum does
not match" about seemingly random files (when I did "svn up
filename.txt" it went ok. Also, when I tried to update the incomplete
repository, it said:
svn: REPORT request failed on '/main/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/main/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read status line: An existing
connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. (http://svn.example.com)
It turned out that my TortoiseSVN was using HTTP-proxy (WinGate),
which was buggy. After turning the proxy off in Setting, all is well.
