are you using Tomcat or Jetty?

i added a note for jetty to the error screen. we need to figure out a
solution other than "you have to change the sitemaps" though.

ok, this means you need to tell Lenya where it can find BXE. Either edit
the file
global-sitemap.xmap
and replace "lenya/resources/bxeng" by your path to BXE or just copy BXE
into the directory
lenya/resources/bxeng
