[jira] Commented: (TAPESTRY-291) Default prefix per component parameter

Howard M. Lewis Ship commented on TAPESTRY-291:
-----------------------------------------------

This will require that the <parameter> element specify the correct binding type to use when no explicit prefix is supplied. The meta-default for this will be "ognl" because most parameters should be expressions. In a few rarer cases, "listener", "asset", "component" or "literal" may be used.

The component documentation will need to be updated to indicate the prefix.

For informal parameters, the "literal" prefix will be the default.

> I would like to see constructs of this form made easier:

> The "listener:" prefix is redundant. We know its a listener method!
