3 carriage returns???

I know I've been a bit out of touch recently what with holidays and all, but
I seem to need 3 carriage returns when I telnet in to the Apache 2.0 on
BeOS????  I'm guessing it's a peculiarity of the BeOS port, but any ideas
how/where I fix it?

I'm off to bed now, so I'll look "au matin".
