Subversion users
Hello,
I work for an aerospace company called CMC Electronics. We are currently refining our SCM tool through out the organization.
CMC background:
1. 3 sites across Canada and the States
2. Multiple OS: UNIX and Windows
3. 20+ projects
4. 200+ developers
An experienced developer in CMC recommended CVS. Giving the fact that Subversion is CVS++, I did some evaluation on Subversion. From the technical aspect, Subversion seems satisfy most of the project requirements. However, the management wants to find out if there is any company that in the same product area (aerospace / high-tech company )of our size using CVS or Subversion?

Tell your management that yes, several large high tech companies are
using it, but that you aren't likely to get direct information on that
any more than you are likely to be able to find out which ones are
using any of the other SCMs. Companies tend not to give that sort of
information out.
