[jira] Commented: (MPIDEA-13) Adding sources for dependencies, group de dependencies in IDEA based on Maven dependiencies groupId

The following comment has been added to this issue:

       Body:
You don't want to group the dependencies and thus change the order of the libraries in the classpath. The reason is that this will cause the classpath to be different when you run the test cases from maven or from IDEA.

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPIDEA-13
    Summary: Adding sources for dependencies, group de dependencies in IDEA based on Maven dependiencies groupId
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Open
   Priority: Major

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-idea-plugin

   Assignee: Brett Porter
   Reporter: Adrian Tarau

    Created: Mon, 29 Nov 2004 12:14 PM
    Updated: Mon, 29 Nov 2004 12:44 PM

Description:
I have a few suggestions for impruving this gread plugin.

First, a good feature is to be able to specify in a dependency properties the path to the dependency sources:

<properties>
   <idea.depend.src>c:\work\project1\src\java</idea.depend.src>
</properties>

And the second one is to be able to add the project libraries grouped on 'Module libraries" based on the dependencies groupId.

Thanks.
