[Proposal] It is hoped that Apache APISIX and Apache Dubbo will carry out diversified community cooperation

Hi, community,

My name is Yeliang Wang, and I am Apache APISIX Committer.

In the past year, Apache APISIX community has carried out community
cooperation with many Apache projects (as Apache rocketmq, Apache pulsar,
Apache skywalking...), and accumulated rich experience in this process.

At present, the dubbo-proxy plugin of Apache APISIX supports HTTP request
proxy to Dubbo(https://apisix.apache.org/docs/apisix/plugins/dubbo-proxy/),
and many users are using this function.

Here, I would like to invite the Apache Dubbo community to cooperate with
the following communities:

   1. Hold a wonderful technical meetup together
   2. Collaborative output technology blog to share with more people
   3. Carry out publicity activities on the official website and media
   channels together
   4. Develop more powerful functions together, so that APISIX can be fully
integrated with Dubbo ecosystem step by step

In this way, it can not only meet the diversified needs of users, but also
enrich the surrounding ecology of Apache Dubbo and Apache APISIX.

This is my suggestion.
Developers are welcome.

Thanks,

Protocol transformation from http to dubbo has been a feature with strong demands and requirements in Dubbo community, so I am really happy to see a project as professional as APISIX can provide support for this. We are willing to cooperate with APISIX to introduce this amazing dubbo-proxy feature to more Dubbo users.

Since Dubbo has officially released the next generation product - dubbo 3.0 this year, we are happy to see further cooperation on Triple, the preferred protocol in 3.0 which features HTTP/2 based RPC application protocol.

Please let us know of the meetup schedule once it’s ready. Thanks

Jun
