Migrate NiFi cluster Kubernetes to On Premise

I have some questions regarding migrating a kubernetes cluster to an on
premise cluster and subsequently upgrading the NiFi 1.13.2 on premise
cluster to NiFi 1.16.0.

I would like to do the migration and upgrade with the utmost security.

What would be the best practices?
What risk should I take into account ?

Here is my configuration:

NiFi 1.13.2 secured cluster with external zookeeper and NiFi registry
Java 8.
