File Access Denied

Hello

Suddenly, I am unable to open my Open Office documents.

The error message reads “File Access Denied. You’ll need to provide administrator permission to apply properties to this file”.

Please advise.

Thank you,
Galen Stoner

It doesn't look like your question has gotten a response.

The message means that the logon (username & password) being used when
trying to access the file does not have the privileges needed.

Privileges are associated with the username so, are you using a different
username? If yes, logon with the original username the files were created
with and try again.

Are the files saved on a network administered by someone else? If yes,
refer the problem to your network administrator. They should be able to
correct it quickly or tell you why you no longer have access.

If none of the above apply, then more information is needed.
* what operating system is being used, e.g. Windows 10, Mac OS X...
* do you have administrator access on the computer? e.g. can you install /
remove software
