How to pronounce "schmoo" (Re: DO NOT REPLY [Bug 32928] - [typo] shmoo or schmoo)

To sum it up, "schmoo" is pronounced
  'sh' as in 'ship, dish'
  'm' as in 'mum'
  'oo' as in 'took'

Is that right?

## "oo" was short?  I always thought it was long, as in 'boot'.

Communication is VERY important.  Who knows when you'll face a blind
developer.  And I've noticed that so many people were working too hard
on new years day.

personally, i've always pronounced the 'oo' long, as in "boot".  that
