[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-12241) Error connecting to cqlsh
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-12241?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15384979#comment-15384979 ]
Tyler Hobbs commented on CASSANDRA-12241:
-----------------------------------------
It looks like {{rpc_address}} is set to the public IP, so connecting to 127.0.0.1 (your first example) won't work. Regarding the second connection attempt, I'm not sure why you're getting that error. Do you have a firewall or iptables rules that could be causing problems?
