[~kazk] this is addressed in GORA_94 branch. We are nearly ready to commit another patch to this branch which will have sorted almost everything so we can stabilize the module with the Avro, Cassandra, Hector and Guava upgrades.
The issue is GORA-245 if you want to track it :)
