Using the same information you have found in "Tomcat IIS How to"  you  will be able to perform the redirection between Tomcat and IIS 5 (Win 2k) with no problems.
Performance seams to me to be the same as in IIS 4 configuration but if you have a dtabase (like Access) on the same machine, the number of query per second that the sistem can do could be not enaght....
(we use a SQL server DB on another machine so the performance encrease).
