   Thanks! I was mostly for just changing the behavior without requiring a new parameter, but if we don't like the behavior for some reason, this allows us to turn the feature off without having to downgrade. If in the future we think the new behavior should be standard, I guess we can bring it up on the mailing list to remove the parameter and just go forward with the new behavior.
