[jira] [Created] (HADOOP-16397) Hadoop S3Guard Prune command to
support a -tombstone option.
Steve Loughran created HADOOP-16397:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Hadoop S3Guard Prune command to support a -tombstone option.
Key: HADOOP-16397
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-16397
Project: Hadoop Common
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: fs/s3
Affects Versions: 3.3.0
Reporter: Steve Loughran
Assignee: Steve Loughran
HADOOP-16279 added purging of tombstones as an explicit option, but its only used in tests.
By adding a {{-tombstone}} option to prune, we can purge all old tombstones from a store. I actually think this is worth doing on a regular basis.
