[Bug 8037] New: Please consider removing bark.com from the default welcomelist
https://bz.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=8037
Bug ID: 8037
Summary: Please consider removing bark.com from the default
welcomelist
Product: Spamassassin
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Rules
Assignee: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
Reporter: kdeugau@vianet.ca
Target Milestone: Undefined
I have been seeing customer reports of unwanted and irrelevant "job lead"
emails from bark.com for some time.
These have included requests for housecleaning sent to a fruit grower and a
flooring installer, or requests for a private investigator sent to a library.
I have attempted to contact them to a) fix the immediate failure and b) take a
broader review of how business contacts get slotted into categories. Their
initial responses have been a pure form letter advising on how to accept or
reject the lead instead of addressing my comments around wildly mistargeted
mail.
