Currently [the Download page](https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/download.html) does not make it clear which versions are supported and which are End-of-Life – improve it.

For the Log4j page, I found a local branch (dated December 2024) that explains our versioning policy and supported versions.
I will submit it as a PR.
