Moderating mailing list posts

I just had my first SPAM sent to the os400@ mailing list. Is the best
thing to do when moderating these messages to just ignore it, or should I
reject it? I am not sure I want any message going back to the sender.

Thanks

Mark

Just ignore it.

That's what I do for dev@ and users@ spam.

Max.

If it's ignored, then after ten days it times out with a message back to
the sender that the moderator didn't act on the moderation. If it's
rejected, a rejection notice is sent back immediately. The spammers won't
care about bounce backs like either of those, so it's fine to just ignore
them.
