Help needed for Recommendation engine
I want to develop recommendation engine with hadoop , mahout and hive.
hadoop for parallel operation ,
mahout for algorithms (logic)
hive for database
So how to start for it which mahout algorithm is sutable for this?

I think you already asked this, and I answered. You need to be clearer
about what you are trying to do, and perhaps read up on these tools, then
come back with a more specific question about Mahout.
You will want to use the item-based Mahout recommender on Hadoop.

Hive is not a database.
You should test different algorithms. If you want suggestions you should say a lot more about what you are doing.
