[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-9323) Kerberos: host/@REALM
principals are created (should not be created)
Robert Levas created AMBARI-9323:
------------------------------------
Summary: Kerberos: host/<hostname>@REALM principals are created (should not be created)
Key: AMBARI-9323
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-9323
Project: Ambari
Issue Type: Task
Components: ambari-server
Affects Versions: 2.0.0
Reporter: Robert Levas
Assignee: Robert Levas
Fix For: 2.0.0
While generating principals, host/<hostname>@REALM principals are created. These should not be created.
And they are ending-up in the resulting keytab. For example:
{code}
[root@c6402 keytabs]# klist -kt nn.service.keytab
Keytab name: FILE:nn.service.keytab
KVNO Timestamp Principal
