I've created a new issue for this and submitted a patch. The chief  
differences are in LRUMap, AbstractHashedMap and AbstractLinkedMap;  
nothing that would hurt compatibility that I could see, and the  
change to AbstractHashedMap prevents a memory utilization issue.
