There is a global setting allow.user.create.projects which if you set to
false will disable projects for normal users

Go to Global Settings (bottom left) then enter allow.user.create.projects in the search box

Yeh sorry, we are running 3.0.5 (CloudPlatform) and it does remove the Projects Tab.
Once CloudStack 4.0 is released, this functionality will become available to you

Hi,
If the customer has no projects he cannot see the project view window but will still see the button for it.
You cannot do anything about it in 3.0.2 and if a user clicks on it will get "You do not have any project message."

Hi,
If the customer has no projects he cannot see the project view window but will still see the button for it.
You cannot do anything about it in 3.0.2 and if a user clicks on it will get "You do not have any project message."

There's this "Global Settings" navigation tab on the CloudStack Dashboard itself . Click on that and search/scroll down for "projects" . When you find "allow.user.create.projects" , set it to False .
