> The tez job analyzers are a very useful feature of 0.8 line but are lacking in the 0.7 line that is still in heavy use. The code is mostly isolated from the other 0.8 changes and apart from a few jdk 1.7 source features used (switch on string and diamond operator), backport is fairly straightforward.
