[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-5744) placeholders usage for QName types CXF endpoint attributes (BP version of CAMEL-4351)

Aki Yoshida created CAMEL-5744:
----------------------------------

Summary: placeholders usage for QName types CXF endpoint attributes (BP version of CAMEL-4351)
                 Key: CAMEL-5744
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-5744
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: camel-cxf
    Affects Versions: 2.10.2
            Reporter: Aki Yoshida

I noticed the Blueprint equivalent of CAMEL-4351 is not there yet in trunk, which handles the placeholder usage for QName typed CXF endpoint attributes.

Since this is a very small but useful change, I would like to have it also integrated into 2.10.x.

Could you look at it?

Thank you.
Aki

Hi Willem,
I added a test case CxfEndpointBeansTest with CAMEL-5791 which adds a test-only component for camel-cxf blueprint tests using camel-test-blueprint.

regards, aki

I forgot to mention that you will needed to disable schema validation of BP so that this placeholder string is not rejected by the BP's xsd schema validation phase.

that means, you will need to add the following parameter to the bundle symbolic name
blueprint.aries.xml-validation:=false

Hi Aki,

Do you mind to create another patch for it?
I think we need also add an OSGi test for it.

Hi Willem,
to write a test case using camel-test-blueprint, I need to add an option in CamelBlueprintTestSupport to customize the bundle directives of the generated test bundle. This option may have other usages than the intended usage that I have here for this ticket.

so, I will create a new ticket to describe this option and will refer to it from here.
Regards, Aki
