>From the policy engine point of view, RangerAuditHandler interface provides a hook to process the access result before returning to the caller. Since this is not specific to audit log generation, it will help to rename this interface to a generic name like RangerAccessResultProcessor.

Plugin implementations can use is interface to perform actions other than auditing.
