[jira] Created: (MYFACES-1679) Missing "by type" registration of
default converters
Missing "by type" registration of default converters
----------------------------------------------------
Key: MYFACES-1679
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1679
Project: MyFaces Core
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT
Reporter: Denny Strietzbaum
Chapter "3.3.3 Standard Converter Implementations" defines a List of "by type" registered Converters.
I assumed that
Converter converter = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getApplication().createConverter(Integer.class);
should return a javax.faces.convert.IntegerConverter.
It doesn't, null is returned instead.
The "standard-faces-config.xml" doesn't do any by-type registrations at all.
