The pending name search is a bit of a problem, but I feel we have waited a long time now. We cannot have the work delayed indefinitely. Should we make an optimistic assumption and proceed with the renaming next week?

We need to very carefully synchronize this, though. There are a few major patches pending that will be next to impossible to merge once we renamed everything. I'll try to get as much done in the next days.

I suggest to warn everybody a week in advance, so that everyone can finalize pull requests to be merged before the renaming.
