Apache SSL error...

I am having a problem starting up Apache. I have compiled
Openssl-0.9.6c, Apache 1.3.23, and the latest version of the mod_ssl
package. The Apache compile went fine, and generated the certificate
without any problem, but I am getting the typical SSL start failure. I am
confused because I receive the error with either start or startssl, and I
would expect the error only with startssl. Anyway, the error is below.

[Mon Mar 4 15:59:08 2002] [error] mod_ssl: Init: Failed to generate
temporary 5
12 bit RSA private key (OpenSSL library error follows)
[Mon Mar 4 15:59:08 2002] [error] OpenSSL: error:24064064:random number
generat
or:SSLEAY_RAND_BYTES:PRNG not seeded
[Mon Mar 4 15:59:08 2002] [error] OpenSSL: error:04069003:rsa
routines:RSA_gene
rate_key:BN lib

I am very confused why I didn't get any errors with the 'make
certificate', but I am now receiving the errors when trying to start Apache.
I have looked at the OpenSSL FAQ, and searched the newsgroups, but nothing I
have found makes any sense to me. Please help. Thanks.
