   @ashb the 1.10.4rc3  release https://github.com/apache/airflow/tree/1.10.4rc3/airflow/www/static and previous releases do not have the `dist` folder under the static dir, this is bad for users who pip install airflow because compile assets isn't called by default with `setup.py` is called. I think it will be best to include the generated dist folder in official releases to save users from having to install node
