Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-4802:
-----------------------------------------

When you write "rendering", do you mean displaying an existing PDF or creating a PDF? Display should work fine (that is rendering). What doesn't work properly is creating PDFs with complex scripts, see PDFBOX-4189.

> PDFBox doesnt render indic languages correcly. Tried with telugu which is rendering correctly.
>
> Typing Brahmarshi vishwamitra in Hindi and Telugu which should look like the following but in actual rendering all characters were displayed separately.
> Telugu బ్రహ్మర్షి విశ్వామిత్ర
> Hindi ब्रह्मर्षि विस्वामित्र
> Seems there is issue with calligraphy.
