out of environment space error

Summary: out of environment space error
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows 9x
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Blocker
          Priority: Other
         Component: Build Process
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: bains_manjit@yahoo.co.uk
                CC: bains_manjit@yahoo.co.uk

I've downloaded the ant 1.3 binary and tried to run it (with J2SE SDK 1.3.1)
and I keep getting this "out of env space" error. I've checked my ANT_HOME var
is set correctly and the bin directory is in the path.

ant -v does not give me any help either.
