KYlin Product

Hi,

How to install kylin in cloudera 5.3 vmware. Please help me .i am new in hadoop technologies .

CDH 5.4 has a known API break about HBase 1.0. See details below. We have
confirmed the HBase-1.x branch will hit a method-not-found exception on CDH
5.4 due to this reason.

Ok, I haven't tested Hbase-1.x branch on CDH5.4, I'll try to test it too.

We're using CDH5.4, both CDH5.3&5.4 come with hbase 1.0.0. We had no problems running Kylin out-of-the-box, you don't need to change anything in the pom.xml (i.e. don't change <hbase-hadoop2.version>0.98.8-hadoop2</hbase-hadoop2.version>).
Also I sometimes test Kylin in Cloudera QuickStart VM and it also works there without any issues.
