Reg :- Excel merge two different sheet

Hi Team,

I am facing some problem while merging two different excel sheet data to one excel sheet using XSSFWorkbook api using poi-3.17.jar, using this api I am able to merge the different excel sheet data to one sheet but it is taking so much time execute.

For example sheet1 contains 15000 records and sheet2 contains only 100 records , to merge these two sheet taking more than one hour time, it is very slow.

And I have tried to use SXSSFWorkbook api, but I am not able to update/merge two different sheet data, I have gone though some side they are saying it is only writing purpose, not for read or update.

Could you please suggest me how to handle this, let me know any sample code

Scenarios like below.

  1. Excel1- Sheet1 contains 10000 row of data
  2. Excel2- Sheet1 contains 2000 row of data
  3. Need to merge in new Excel3 -Sheet1 .. records like first 10000 then 10001 to 12000 row data.

Thanks & Regards,
Manivannan. G
