Verified in 1.8.2 using dotnet examples:
added Date field to Emploee and the following into example:
{code}
            var qry2 = cache.Query(new SqlQuery(typeof(Employee), "where Date <= ?", System.DateTime.UtcNow));

            foreach (var entry in qry2)
                Console.WriteLine(">>>    " + entry.Value);
{code}
