Current log file with date extension
Hi,
I need to have each days log file to be of the format:
logfile.yyyyMMdd including today's file.
How can I include the datestamp extension in the
current file and have it change each day?
I have looked at DailyRollingFileAppender:
log4j.appender.A1=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.A1.File=logfile
log4j.appender.A1.DatePattern=.yyyyMMdd
But the above is the best I can come up with, which is
fine for the previous days logs, but I need the
current file also to be of the format logfile.yyyyMMdd
Any help or tips would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Kenny
