[DISCUSS] volunteers to RM 0.4.0?
We're at ~2.5 months since our 0.3.0 release and there are 30 resolved
issues currently with a fix version of 0.4.0.
Anyone have a JIRA they think needs to block us getting the 0.4.0 release out?
Anyone want to volunteer to give being the Release Manager a try?
Unfortunately, you currently must be a committer to meaningfully
handle the release process.

Hi All,
Just wanted to provide an update on the release. I am still trying to
settle in the new country and wasn't able to find time till now. However, I
do have some time available every day this week and will hopefully be able
to complete it soon.
Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for volunteering Ajay! It'd be great if you could take on
making the candidates for a 0.4.0 release.
Hopefully our guide on releases will cover everything needed for you
to get through the process[1]. If you have any questions I'm happy to
answer them.

In case Chris isn't available, I can pick it up.

Following up on a 0.4.0 release.
Chris, do you think you'll have time soon-ish?
If Chris isn't available, is there anyone else who'd like to volunteer?

Well I dare say my bandwidth for following up on this thread speaks for
itself.
Presuming no one else wants to jump on a 0.4.0 release ahead of time,
mid-september volunteering would be wonderful Chris. :)

Sean, thank you for bringing this up.
I’d like to help, but realistically, my schedule won’t allow it until mid-September. If we’re willing to wait that long, then I can sign up. If we prefer to ship 0.4.0 sooner, then I can come back around in September for the next version if there is appetite for another quick release after 0.4.0.
