Memory Leaks

Are there any know memory leak issues with either the 1.2 or 2.0 version of xalan-j?
We have tried both in a development environment to transform large xml files into html using xsl style sheets.
Both versions seem to be big memory leakers.
I cant quote the exact amounts, but it is enough to halt the server within an hour of moderate usage.

Any/all replies welcome.
