Re Capture base image of Win10

Hi Josh:

Thank you for your response to my question. The C:/Cygwin/tmp directory was
indeed created when I installed Cygwin. I had some problems with the ssh
daemon but I renamed it. I still cannot create the image, Any suggestion?
I appreciate your help.

Hi Luis,

As part of the image capture process, the VM gets shut down, a copy of the
disk is created, the VM definition is saved, and the VM is deleted. Then, as
a test, the VM is recreated based on the image that was captured.

If you're seeing the image and xml from the captured VM, the capture process
should have succeeded. It sounds like something failed with the reload.
We'll need more of the log information to see what happened. Typically, when
you have a CRITICAL error in the log, there are a number of WARNING messages
before it. It's best to send us about 10 lines above the top WARNING in that
sequence through the end of the CRITICAL message.

Josh

Hi Josh:

I could create the image yesterday but after the image creation, the
virtual machine disappeared from the hypervisor, there is no longer there
[virsh list --all does not list the virtual machine], but its xml and hard
drive does exist in /var/lib/libvirt/images/repository as well in
/var/lib/libvirt/images/masters. I have no idea what happened. I appreciate

Hi Luis,

Can you send your vcld.log for the reservation after restarting the imaging
process from the Dashboard page?

Thanks,
Josh
