Using the sample SAXCount in latest distributed binary (xerces-c2_0_0-
SolFor2.7CC.tar.gz) works ok. Although that distributed binary was built
using Forte C++ 6.2 on Solaris 2.7, different from your environment, I think it
still worthwhile to try again using the latest release and see if problem
persists.
