[ANNOUNCE] ActiveMQ Artemis 2.4.0 Released

I'm pleased to announce the release of ActiveMQ Artemis 2.4.0.

Notable new features:

- JMX configuration is now available from the management.xml which is
usually simpler than using system properties.  JMX access also now supports
RBAC which, among other things, allows the web-based management console to
be locked down in a more granular way (e.g. allowing certain users to read
metrics but not invoke management methods).  See more details in the

- HA is now supported via JDBC (in addition to shared file-system and
network replication)

As usual it contains a handful of bug fixes and other improvements.
