JMeter Distributed Testing identifying bottlenecks

Hi,

 

Can anyone help me in the following scenarios.

1.       If we use 10 agent machines controlled by a single controller, does
controller become a bottleneck in this case?

2.       If we have 10,000 users/threads to run a particular test-suite? If
YES, how many agents were used?

3.       Which OS supports more number of active threads at a single point
of time (Windows vs Linux).
