[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-839) Authorization succeds with invalid acl owner based on group membership

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-839?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14186355#comment-14186355 ]

Venkatesh Seetharam commented on FALCON-839:
--------------------------------------------

It seems unnecessary to do anything since this is the expected behavior.

There are 2 approaches:

* validate the acl owner as a first step
* add the authenticated user as the acl owner if auth is based on group membership
