GSoC Mentorship: Apache Openmeetings (incubating)
Hello,
I want to be a mentor for Apache Openmeetings (incubating) project. My
id is aaf.
I was unsure if I should post a separate email on this, but everyone did so. :-)

Don't worry, the ASF had been involved with GSoC since day 1. The reason we
use the tracker is so that dynamic pages can be created on a pan ASF and
project specific level.
Google staff do not evaluate projects or students, we do.
You can include info from Jira in your website if you want specific project
pages.

... and/or maybe there is a general SoC 2012 page at Apache Foundation
where we can add our relevant projects, mentors and requirements. I did not
find one yet though ...
That might be also good to link there to find applicants that apply for the
projects.

I think we should have a ideas page. It is important for students that they
know who to talk to, what kind of communication channels they can use et
cetera.
I think the Google Staff that will judge if any project is "relevant" will
also review that to judge if we will get a project or not.
Successfull project descriptions look like that:
